Student Policy

Maranatha Baptist Christian School is dedicated to the training of children in a program of study, activity, and living that is Christ-centered. We believe that “all things should be done decently and in order” and that our students should be taught to accept the responsibility to “walk honorably before all men”

Students at Maranatha Baptist Christian School are expected to refrain from talking about or engaging in cheating, swearing, smoking, gambling, rock or country music, dancing, Hollywood movies, drinking alcoholic beverages, or using narcotics. Students are expected to act in an orderly and respectful manner, maintaining Christian standards in courtesy, kindness, language, morality, and honestly. They must strive toward an unquestionable character in dress, conduct, and attitude. Students are reminded that the Lord Jesus Christ expects us to be disciplined in all areas of life.

Maranatha Baptist Christian School is not a corrective institution. We are here to work with the home, but not to take the place of the parents who have experienced difficulty in fulfilling their roles.

Church Affiliation

Maranatha Baptist Christian School is a ministry of Bible Baptist Church. Students are not required to be a member of this church. However, we expect both student and parent to be a member of and attend regularly a Bible-believing church.
